Last week, coinciding with our launch of our widget platform, we reached the milestone of moving PlumX out of beta.

The earliest adopters of our research dashboards, the University of Pittsburgh and the Smithsonian, have made their PlumX directories public.

• Plu.mX/Pitt -The data behind Plu.mx/Pitt is primarily derived from Pitt’s institutional repository where they are working to include records for their researchers output.  We both track metrics about every article that is contributed as well as leverage by the summaries by each department/school and for each institute.  Individual Pitt researchers like this example, can also have dashboards that leverage this data.
• Plu.mX/Smithsonian – is a dedicated site for the Smithsonian where metrics for their entire institution, by museum, and by department can be accessed. Additionally, researcher dashboards for affiliated researchers are available.
